FOR VIEWERS

You support the stream.
Choose how it reaches them.

You want to support the person behind the screen. STEN gives you a wallet-based way to donate Solana (SOL) or STEN coins, with 97% of the donated token amount going to your streamer under our standard model.

3% STEN platform fee. Network and external purchase or conversion costs are separate. You need a compatible Solana wallet.

WHY THIS ROUTE EXISTS

You want to support them.
Let the donation do its work.

01

A clear share for the creator.

Of the Solana or STEN coins you donate, 97% goes to the streamer. The 3% platform share pays for STEN’s donation and alert service.

02

Use the coins you already hold.

Already have Solana in a compatible wallet? You can donate SOL directly. You do not have to buy STEN coins or a bundle of Bits first.

03

Make it a personal moment.

Add a message for the streamer. Their active STEN overlay can display it in the style they choose, after the relevant confirmation.

YOU CAN ALSO CHEER WITH BITS

What you buy.
What the streamer receives.

Bits is a familiar way to support someone inside Twitch, with native Cheermotes and Bit Badges. STEN offers a separate donation link and wallet payment. Both let you show support; their payment models and features differ.

TWITCH’S PUBLISHED CREATOR RATE100 Bits → US$1

Cheering 100 Bits provides US$1 in creator revenue under Twitch’s published Partner rate. Cheering 95 Bits provides US$0.95. This is the creator’s rate, not the viewer’s purchase price.

ONE PUBLISHED PURCHASE EXAMPLE95 Bits → €1.99

The Dutch Apple App Store listing shows this iOS purchase price, checked 15 October 2026. It is one published listing, not a market average or a checkout guarantee. Prices and available offers vary.

Example: what if your checkout shows 95 Bits for €2.25?

At that quoted offer, you pay €2.25 for 95 Bits. At the same unit price, 100 Bits would cost about €2.37; this is a calculation, not a verified 100-Bit bundle. Cheering all 95 Bits provides US$0.95 in creator revenue under Twitch’s published rate.

This €2.25 price is an illustrative, viewer-reported example, not an independently verified current Twitch price. Euros and US dollars are different currencies. Without a dated exchange rate and the complete costs, the difference is not a Twitch fee percentage or profit calculation.

Why choose STEN?

If you already use a compatible Solana wallet, you can support the streamer with an explicit 97/3 split of your donated coins and a personal stream alert. Compare the complete cost before deciding. Buying crypto especially for a small donation can add fees and extra steps.

Keep using the option that fits you. STEN does not replace Twitch’s native Bits features and is not automatically cheaper than every external tip service.

WHAT CAN YOU DONATE?

Solana or STEN coins.
Both on the Solana network.

SOL

Solana (SOL)

SOL is the native coin of the Solana blockchain. If you already hold it in a compatible wallet, you can choose the SOL donation route.

STEN

STEN coins

STEN is the project’s token on Solana. Choose STEN if you hold the correct token. You still need a small SOL balance for network fees.

Phantom and Solflare are the wallets described for the current STEN setup. A wallet supporting Solana does not automatically establish that it connects to STEN.

YOUR FIRST DONATION

Find your streamer.
Choose. Check. Approve.

  1. 1

    Open the right creator link.

Use the donation link shared by your streamer, or find their Twitch channel in the app. Check the creator before entering an amount.

  2. 2

    Choose your coins and message.

Select Solana (SOL) or STEN coins. Set an amount and a message. Leave enough SOL for network costs, including for STEN donations.

  3. 3

    Review it in your wallet.

STEN prepares an unsigned proposal. Check the recipient, asset, amount, split and costs. Your wallet signs and sends only after you approve.

  4. 4

    Follow the confirmation.

Solana processes the transfers. STEN uses confirmation for the alert; the streamer’s overlay must be active. If something seems stuck, check the result before paying again.

YOUR MESSAGE ON STREAM

A message for them.
A moment for the community.

The streamer chooses the alert’s look and media. Your message can become part of that moment.

Your message may appear on stream. Any text included on-chain is also public and cannot simply be removed by STEN. Keep private details out. Follow the limits displayed in the app.

A few useful
answers.

Explore news & insights →
Do I have to switch from Bits?

No. Choose how you prefer to support the streamer. STEN is an additional option for Solana and STEN coins. Bits offers Twitch-native features and a different purchase model.

Will my streamer always get more in euros?

No fixed euro outcome is promised. STEN’s standard model sends 97% of donated coins to the streamer. Your total spending can include purchase, network, account and conversion costs; crypto values can change.

Can I use my Coinbase or Bitvavo balance directly?

A balance in a hosted exchange account is not automatically a wallet connection that can approve STEN’s proposal. Understand the difference between a wallet, network and exchange before transferring funds. Use the wallet setup guide and the app’s supported connection options.

What if my wallet shows a warning?

Stop and ask the team to identify the message and its current status. Do not bypass a safety warning to finish a donation. See the wallet warning guide.
