STEN COIN & SOLANA

A token for support.
A network you can check.

STEN coins are tokens on the Solana blockchain. Today, they are an additional donation option alongside Solana (SOL). We are exploring how tokens could also recognise the contribution viewers make to a community.

THE TECHNOLOGY BEHIND THE SUPPORT

Solana is the network.
STEN connects it to your stream.

Solana is a blockchain: a shared record of transactions maintained by a network of validators. STEN uses this existing network to connect wallet-based donations with creator-defined stream alerts.

01

Built for quick interaction.

We focus on Solana because its transaction processing and generally low network fees fit small donations during a live stream. Confirmation time and costs still depend on the transaction and network conditions.

02

Approval stays in your wallet.

STEN prepares an unsigned proposal, including the donation split. You review and approve it in a supported wallet, such as Phantom or Solflare. The wallet signs and sends; the Solana network processes the transfer.

03

A donation becomes a stream moment.

STEN’s software uses transaction confirmation to trigger the streamer’s alert. The blockchain records the transfer; the streamer chooses how the support appears in the broadcast.

PRICE & TOKEN VERIFICATION

Market data is supplied by DEX Screener and can be delayed or unavailable. The displayed pool price is indicative; trade size, liquidity, price movement and fees affect the amount received.

This mint address identifies the STEN token on Solana. The project has shared the linked DEX Screener page. A trading-pair address and token mint are different identifiers; a complete matching market listing still needs to be confirmed.

Inspect the STEN token on Solscan ↗

An explorer makes public data easier to inspect. A listing is not a security audit or a guarantee of liquidity or token value.

PUBLICLY CHECKABLE

Your transfer has a record.

A confirmed donation can be inspected using its transaction signature in a Solana explorer such as Solscan. Public addresses do not automatically reveal the real-world identity of their owners.

Check the transfer.

Review the status, sending and receiving addresses, token amount and network fee. A transaction can contain several instructions, including the streamer and platform transfers.

Keep the roles clear.

STEN facilitates the donation and alert connection. Your wallet approves the proposal and the Solana network processes it. Public transaction data alone does not prove software security or a person’s identity.

SOLANA (SOL) & STEN COINS

Two donation options.
One network for now.

SOLANA (SOL)

The network’s native asset.

You can donate SOL directly. SOL also pays Solana network fees, including when you transfer STEN coins. You do not have to buy STEN first if you choose the supported SOL route.

STEN COINS

A token on Solana.

STEN coins are a separate token that can be used in the STEN donation flow. Keep a small SOL balance available for network costs when using the STEN route.

Low fees, with a clear cost breakdown.

Solana’s documented base transaction fee is currently 5,000 lamports per signature: 0.000005 SOL. A priority fee can be added. Creating a token account can also require separate funding for its on-chain storage balance. The total and its euro value vary; review the wallet request before approving.

The standard STEN platform share is 3% of the donated token amount. Network costs and external buying, exchanging or selling costs are separate.

FUTURE DIRECTION · IN RESEARCH

Support can be more
than a payment.

We want to explore a reward system around the connection between streamers and viewers. These ideas are in research, are not available features and do not have an announced release date.

COMMUNITY

Recognise participation.

Explore how watch time, repeat participation and other community contributions could be recognised alongside financial support.

RECOGNITION

Make support visible.

Research optional leaderboards for donation amounts or watch time, alongside milestones and recognition for supporters. The design still needs to address fair measurement, privacy and manipulation.

TOKEN UTILITY

Explore STEN’s role.

Investigate how STEN coins could fit into a streamer–viewer reward system. Holding or donating STEN does not currently create an entitlement to future rewards or a financial return.

More assets, when the product is ready.

Longer term, we want to research donations involving Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and stablecoins. These are not currently supported donation routes. Our current focus remains the Solana ecosystem.

Native BTC and ETH operate on different blockchains and cannot simply be treated as Solana tokens. Additional networks or assets require their own technical integration, cost model and testing; no bridge or conversion route is being promised here.
